SleepWell ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the SleepWell mobile application.

1. Data We Do NOT Collect

SleepWell is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect, store, or transmit the following:

• Personal identification information — no name, email, phone number, or account registration required.
• Sleep data — all sleep tracking data (duration, phases, snore events, scores) is stored exclusively on your device.
• Audio recordings — snore detection audio is processed locally and never uploaded.
• Location data — we do not access your device location.
• Contacts or calendar — we do not access your contacts or calendar data.

2. Information Stored Locally

All data generated by your use of SleepWell is stored exclusively on your device in local storage (SQLite database and SharedPreferences). This includes:

• Sleep session records and sleep phase data
• Alarm configurations
• Sound mixer presets
• Meditation session history
• Application settings and preferences

This data never leaves your device. We have no access to it, and it is deleted when you uninstall the application.

3. Third-Party Services

SleepWell integrates with the following third-party services that may collect limited data:

• Google Play Billing — processes subscription payments. Your payment information is handled by Google and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• RevenueCat — manages subscription state. RevenueCat may collect anonymous purchase tokens. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
• Pangle (ByteDance) — displays advertisements in the free version. Pangle may collect device identifiers for ad personalization. Upgrade to Premium for an ad-free experience. See Pangle's Privacy Policy.
• Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics — collects anonymous usage statistics and crash reports to help us improve the app. No sleep data or personal information is included. See Google's Privacy Policy.

4. Advertising & Personalized Ads

The free version of SleepWell displays advertisements via Pangle. Pangle may use your device's advertising identifier to serve personalized ads. You can:

• Upgrade to the Premium subscription for an ad-free experience.
• Reset your advertising identifier through your device settings.

5. Children's Privacy

SleepWell is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

6. Data Security

Since all your data is stored locally on your device, the security of your data is protected by your device's built-in security features (encryption, screen lock, etc.). We recommend keeping your device updated and using a secure screen lock.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights under GDPR (EU/EEA), CCPA (California), or similar privacy laws. Since SleepWell does not collect or store your personal data on our servers:

• Access & Deletion: You can access all your data within the app. To delete all data, simply uninstall the app.
• Data Portability: All sleep records can be viewed within the app. To remove all data, simply uninstall the app.
• Opt-out of Sale: We do not sell personal data. You can reset your advertising identifier through your device settings.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the app and updating the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated through an in-app notice.
